With the transfer of these Su-35S aircraft plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur ahead of schedule fulfilled the supply plan for these fighters for the State Defense Order 2019 of the year, total passing 10 Su-35S. Of these, four received “Russian Knights”, and six Su-35S were delivered to the 790th fighter aviation regiment of the 105th mixed aviation division of the 6th Leningrad Red Banner Army of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Western Military District, Borisovsky Khotilovo stationed at the airport in the Tver Region.

“Russian Knights” – the only aerobatic team in the world, showing aerobatics on the heavy fighters Su-27 and Su-30SM, differing from combat aircraft only in color. Was formed 5 April 1991 years on the basis of the 1st aviation squadron of the Center for the display of aircraft at the Kubinka airfield. It consists of five pilots: Colonels Andrei Alekseev and Oleg Erofeev, lieutenant colonel Sergey Shcheglov, Majors Vladimir Kochetov and Igor Tkachenko.
