В Санкт-Петербурге спущен на воду головной ледокол проекта 23550 “Ivan Papanin”. Торжественная церемония прошла на верфи судостроительного предприятия “Admiralty Shipyards” .
CVD “Admiralty Shipyards” спустили на воду патрульный корабль ледового класса проекта 23550 “Ivan Papanin”. Судно является головным в серии из двух судов, заказанных Минобороны. Второй ледокол данного проекта планируют заложить в следующем году.
Ice class patrol ships (combat icebreakers) project 23550 developed by the Central Marine Design Bureau (CMDB) “diamond” as a replacement for military icebreakers of the project 21180, по которому был построен и передан флоту всего один один ледокол — “Ilya Muromets”.
The vessel is capable of performing the tasks of a tug, patrol ship and icebreaker. The ship is designed to protect and monitor water resources in difficult ice conditions, escort and towing of detained ships to the port, escort and support of support vessels, participation in rescue operations, transportation of special cargo.
The icebreaker is capable of reaching speeds of up to 18 knots. Displacement – about 8500 tonnes, length – over 100 m, width – about 20 m, cruising – about 70 day. Автономность корабля составляет 70 day, а дальность хода — 10 thousand nautical miles. The icebreaker can overcome ice fields up to thickness 1,7 m.
Корабль вооружен автоматической артиллерийской установкой АК-176МА и оснащен пусковой установкой для крылатых ракет “Caliber”. Besides, на судне будет базироваться один многоцелевой вертолет.
