According to the Turkish Ministry of Defense, a soldier died on Sunday, 20 October, in the north-east of the SAR. At the same time, there is a ceasefire in Syria.. celebrated, that another Turkish soldier was wounded as a result of anti-tank and small arms fire, opened by militants from the Kurdistan Workers' Party and the People's Self-Defense Forces banned in Turkey.
Recall, during a meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US Vice President Mike Pence 17 October, an agreement was signed to suspend Operation Peace Spring, directed against terrorists from Kurdish gangs, in northern Syria. This decision was made, for Kurdish fighters to leave the planned 30-kilometer security zone. If the Kurds do not leave the specified territory, Ankara reserves the right to continue the anti-terrorist operation.
