Netherlands armed forces in the near future will change on Italian armored MRAP MTV production class 4X4. The Ministry of Defense signed a contract with Iveco Defence Vehicles for delivery 1275 armored vehicles of this type.
The Dutch Ministry of Defense signed a contract for the supply of 1275 Italian armored vehicles MTV (Medium Tactical Vehicle), also known as Italian abbreviation VTTM (Tactical Medium Multirole Vehicle). Details of the agreement are not, known, that the supply of armored vehicles will be carried out during the period from 2022 by 2026 year.
Armored MRAP class is designed Iveco Defence Vehicles together with the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) in the 2000s in the two embodiments – 4x4 (combat weight 18 tonnes) and 6x6 (weight 25 tonnes).
