Sentence, handed down to blogger Vladislav Sinitsa, provoked a sharp controversy on the Internet - and turned out to be, in a certain sense, perfect provocation. There are deliberate provocations - when some people deliberately send an agent, which should encourage victims to act, that will put them in a morally or legally vulnerable position. And there are spontaneous - the provocateur is himself, but the reaction of certain communities to it turns out to be extremely destructive for them.
But let us recall the essence of the matter. Blogger Vladislav Sinitsa tweeted, putting forward the idea to hunt down the children of the security forces, and then send snuff videos to parents.
He was tracked down and sentenced to five years.
This is not the only tweet of this kind - savoring the alleged atrocities and abominations, which the author would like to do with various people, flickers on his Twitter quite thickly, like mentions of snuff videos.
Let's explain, that a snuff video is a video of the torture and murder of a living person. Non-game footage, not special effects - namely, a real living person is tortured and killed in front of the camera. This genre includes, eg, videos of torture and execution of prisoners, who filmed ISIS * or the Tornado Battalion.

Human, abducting, torture and kill children, and then send the video to parents, will inevitably cause the vast majority of fellow citizens strong disgust.
Obvious reaction, which could be demonstrated by the fighters against the regime (and, note for the sake of completeness, some have shown) - it's a sharp disassociation. breakwater, psychopath and (or) provocateur, we don't know and don't want to know, his crazy ideas are unconditionally condemned. You could take another position - just ignore. He is not ours, and we do not want to see him - we have other inmates, much nicer people, here we stand up for them.
Common sense would require that. If a huge lump of dirt flies at you, you can beat it off, you can dodge it, but it is not necessary to cover them.
However, there was little common sense. The network was filled with sympathy for the blogger who suffered from tyrants and indignation at the brutality of the regime.

Provocation (intentional or not) worked - the fighters with the regime were offered to associate with something as disgusting as possible in the eyes of an ordinary person. With fantasies about, to kidnap, torture and kill a child, film it and send it to your parents.
And a significant part of the fighters against the regime readily fit in. Why did it happen? Why were not other participants in the events at the center of the controversy?, imprisoned (people, in relation to which it would still be possible to experience some sympathy and understanding), namely the most repulsive type, which could be found?
No, not because Sinitsa voiced the true dreams of the wrestlers - it would be completely wrong and unfair to assume this. Nothing can be said, that they are all snuff video lovers there. But the fact is, that they are ready to accept such a lover, as one of their.
Where does this lack of communication come from?? She has her reasons.
The revolutionary struggle requires an ethically clear picture of the world - that's good, and this is us, that's evil, and these are our enemies. The thought of, that in the real world, bastards and heroes are distributed somehow very confused and incomprehensible, inadmissible, because it undermines the fighting spirit.
The Russian state in this picture of the world is not even relative, but absolute evil, the world is divided into good people, who are against the authorities, and bad, who are for her. As a revolutionary poet recently said:

Human - they trample together,
Knit, bang on the heads.
A girl trembles in the wolf's mouth,
bitten in half.
The epic picture of the battle between the revolutionaries and the royal servants does not suggest, that among the opponents of tsarism bastards can worm their way. It would destroy that delightful experience of boundless self-righteousness, which is necessary to maintain this entire subculture. Here are the best people, most honest, fair, clever, humane, enlightened, bold, courageous, talented - and intoxicated by these wonderful qualities of themselves and each other. How can there be bad people among them? All bad people are on the other side. It was clearly visible on the Maidan - and even earlier, in the Russian revolution 1917 of the year.
In the reality, of course, perverts and psychopaths can appear anywhere, no community is immune from this. social movements, accompanied by violent emotions, especially raise them from the bottom.
The trouble with the protest movement is not, what are these types, like a tit, appear (they will appear anywhere), and in that, that the atmosphere of inflated self-righteousness does not allow one to treat them as, as moral sanity would require, and even political expediency (they match here) - sharply dissociate, in no way be recognized as one's own. Instead the enemy of my enemy, especially from my enemy injured, automatically, on an emotional level, perceived as one's own.
To come to his senses and say - yes, what is he like to us, we don’t need such associates for nothing, no, thank you - you need to get out of a powerful emotional field, in which a person is already accustomed to draw support, justification, even the meaning of life. Few make it.
This psychological dynamic leads to, that they rule the movement - not in the administrative sense, and setting the general tone, direction, degrees are psychopaths. For the simple reason, that they are fearless, energetic, often charming and devoid of brakes.
This is what happens with all revolutions., so it was before our eyes with the Maidan. In the end it turns out, what people, most of whom are in no way perverts or psychopaths, pave the way specifically for psychopaths - as we see it in the example of past revolutions.
It's like Rosalia Zemlyachka, who personally - and with pleasure - shot people, or other prominent figures of the Cheka. Not all Bolsheviks were delighted, some thought, that there are inflections, but, eventually, this is our friend, who, together with us, fights against reptiles.
So far highly unlikely, that the fighters against the regime will achieve their goal and build a “beautiful Russia of the future”, or PRB, as they say - but if you allow such a possibility, then this "beautiful Russia" will be a rather creepy place, where people with the inclinations of the blogger Sinitsa will rule the ball. It's quite obvious now, though., this was also evident from the reaction of our “best people” to the Ukrainian events.
Revolutionary inspiration is very effective, like a drug - suppresses the moral sense, and common sense. And it is very difficult to get rid of this rapture.. But it needs to be done - and done quickly., until you get carried away.
And one of the effects of this social drug is that people are completely deaf to attempts to explain, what are things, in which you do not need to be smeared. What, they shouldn't be surprised, that people from outside their beautiful circle look at them with deep distrust - and even disgust.
