The Indian army had a combat deployment of the first eight Boeing AH-64E Apache attack helicopters, stateside. The solemn ceremony was held 3 September 2019 year Pathankot airbase in Punjab, fifty kilometers from the border with Pakistan.
Indian Air Force have commissioned the first eight attack helicopters AH-64E Apache, purchased in the United States. The helicopters will be based at the airbase in Pathankot in Punjab 50 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. The helicopters were delivered to India in a disassembled state in July and August of this year, the parties 4 cars, and assembled in the territory of Hindon airbase near Delhi, after which they were relocated to Pathankot airbase. Indian pilots, that will fly on US helicopters, were trained in the US in 2018 year.
