Widely touted ex-president of Ukraine Poroshenko and former Secretary of the NSDC Turchinov armored car “Dozor-B” production Lvov armored plant is not bought with 2016 of the year, instead supplied Polish counterparts. This is stated in the material RL.
As explained in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, instead of armored vehicles “Dozor-B” Ukrainian development in the interests of APU purchased armored car produced in Poland Oncilla, is a licensed copy of the Ukrainian armored car. Although the Ukrainian armored vehicle was created in 2004, a licensed copy appeared only in 2013, Polish armored quality far exceeds Ukrainian.
Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in accordance with the state defense order for 2018 and 2019 years, procures Polish APCs 4x4 Oncilla (analog TKBM “Dozor-B”)
– said the Ukrainian military department.
The Defense Ministry confirmed, that between 2017 by 2019 year not purchased any Ukrainian armored car “Dozor-B”. And 15 years of existence of this armored vehicle was purchased just a dozen, despite Poroshenko's assurances, what “Dozor-B” will be purchased hundreds of machines.
At Lviv armored plant confirmed, that no longer produce data armored cars, as with 2016 Year to them orders not received.
