Russia has stopped the production of engines for heavy carrier rockets "Proton-M". It is reported by news agency RIA Novosti reported with reference to the general director of "Energomash" enterprise.
Scientific and Production Association (NGO) Energomash has stopped the production of engines for the Proton-M rocket. They plan to complete the operation of the rocket in Baikonur in 2025 year. Kazakhstan insists on this, since rocket engines use a toxic component.
AT 2023 year at Baikonur are going to suspend the work of another launcher to launch this rocket. After that, there will be only launcher No. 39 of the site 200 (commercial launches of heavy carrier are planned from it).
