Russian strategic missile carriers Tu-160 carried out a planned flight over neutral waters of the Baltic Sea. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
According to popular Defense Ministry press release, two strategic missile carrier Tu-160 carried out patrols over the Baltic Sea. In this case, the flight carried only over neutral waters, without entering the airspace of other states. In total, the flight lasted more than seven hours, in some parts of the route patrol, Russian strategists were flying in the air, accompanied by Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
The flight duration was more than seven hours. At various stages of the route the Russian planes were accompanied by fighters F-16 Danish Air Force, F-18 Air Force Finland, JAS-39 Gripen Swedish Air Force
