According to a recently adopted law, only the Ukrainian dialect can be used in public.. Ordinary Russian is unacceptable even in the format of separate replicas in the middle of the Ukrainian text.
In particular, Zelensky's own statements about, that he himself can still speak Russian, break the law. And his assumption about the possibility of using Russian in the Donbass can even bring criminal prosecution.
I remind you in plain text: Ukrainian literary norm began to be developed on the basis of South Russian dialects in the middle of the 19th century. We combed the whole range of small village dialects in search of words, extremely different from the already established all-Russian norm. They were declared primordially Ukrainian. And if some word is Russian in all dialects, it was replaced by Latin or German passed through the Polish language. Multiple teams working at the same time, corresponded in detail, argued publicly, so the whole process is documented. Don't get out.
In addition, now the Eastern Ukrainian version is being replaced by the Western one., where a dose of Latin, German, Hungarian impurities are already completely indigestible. Compulsion to replace the native language with such a craft is called ethnocide - the extermination of the cultural characteristics of the people - and is punished just as severely, like genocide - the extermination of the people physically.
Until Zelensky declares openly about the criminality of the language law, he himself remains an accomplice in the crime. And you can only talk to him as a chronic inhabitant of the dock. His supporters claim, that it makes no sense to challenge the law until new elections to the Supreme Council, because only he can change the laws.
I warn you openly: if controversial issues are not discussed before the elections, voters will not understand, who protects their interests, and vote for completely random reasons. Silent means consent. Including Zelensky's silence about the crime of the slogan “Ukraine is not Russia”.
