Georgian madness: Russia should teach Tbilisi a hard lesson

Georgian madness: Russia should teach Tbilisi a hard lesson

The situation in Georgia, a, it would be more accurate to say - in its capital, more and more begins to resemble not even the theater of the absurd, but some crazy action, completely devoid of essence and meaning, Yes, in addition, completely out of control. The impression, that a small Caucasian republic suffers from a real "split" of consciousness, and many of its inhabitants create, don't know themselves, what.

Nevertheless, staying in a position of realism, we can't help but remember, what's behind any chaos, usually, there is someone, this very chaos well prepared and carefully planned. Let's try to figure out what forces and for what purposes are fanning the flames of Russophobia and civil conflict in the Caucasus today.?

Much ado about nothing?

Anti-Russian rallies are shaking Tbilisi today, and protest demonstrations under the building of the Rustavi-2 TV channel against the TV presenter, who dared to swear on the air of the president of our country. At the same time, under the building of the country's parliament, participants in the "March of Dignity" in support of the multi-colored "minorities" converge hand-to-hand, opponents of such and protesters "against the Russian occupation". At the same time, opponents of LGBT people are beating representatives of the Russophobic "get-together" (probably, know something)… If this is not a uniform madhouse, then I don't know, what would you like to be considered as such! The most important thing, that the main reason for everything that is happening today in the Georgian capital, by and large, completely far-fetched and clearly does not pull on the true reason for such large-scale unrest. Well, Russian MP Sergei Gavrilov sat in the chair of the speaker of parliament… So, after all, the "hospitable hosts" themselves put him there.! So what is next – off we go. Too everything looks like a typical "color" provocation, cooked up according to well-known patterns.

With all this, the representatives of the official power have the most salty – Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili, "Shaking off" for the unprecedented trick of the lost coast of Gabunia, proving, that they consider his act "disgusting" and condemn "incitement to hatred and hatred". but, looks like, late… In our State Duma, deputies are already in full force demanding the issuance of a telematters to Russia, and obviously not for awarding any prize. And at the same time, they very seriously raise the issue of stopping the export of Georgian wine to the country., and, which is no less scary for Tbilisi - the introduction of a ban for Georgian citizens on money transfers from it. All this, coupled with the flow of Russian tourists that has already stopped literally since yesterday, runs the risk of simply collapsing the already not very strong economy of Georgia - at least, damage her for many hundreds of millions of dollars. so, the, who is "at the helm" in this country today (or, at least, pretends, what drives her), everything that happens is extremely unprofitable. To whom then?

Return Saakashvili at any cost?

First of all, exactly that, who is determined to erase the "Georgian Dream" – the ruling party now in the country, from her "political map". This force is directly associated with one of the main local oligarchs - Bidzina Ivanishvili, which the West does not like too much. At first, they cannot forgive him there in any way for the deposition of their "best friend" – Mikhail Saakashvili, a, Secondly, for some reason they consider it "pro-Russian". This statement is more, what is debatable – nor Ivanishvili himself, nor "Georgian Dream", and to, by and large, none of any significant Georgian politicians can be ranked among the sympathizers of our country, no matter how hard you try. AND, Nevertheless, west, looks like, saw in the actions of the current Tbilisi a kind of "lurch" towards Moscow. Response followed, as we see, immediately. The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia has not in vain qualified the actions of the protesters 20 June, aimed at seizing the building of the local parliament, as an attempted coup. According to reports, if the capture attempt succeeded, events would further develop according to the scenario, worked great in 2014 in Kiev – adjusted for local realities, naturally.

Basically, next year, Georgia is already waiting for the next parliamentary elections. but, we know, how they don't like to wait in the State Department for a whole year! example – yet again, Ukraine. Yes, and the forces have a chance in these elections, supporting the only, perhaps, ideally acceptable to the West politician – Saakashvili, no, by and large, no. The local people know too well, what is this "gold" and what does it smell like… But now Miho from TV channels (Ukrainian, naturally), screaming about, that not only parliamentary, but the last presidential elections were "stolen", already declaring "illegitimate" and Zurabishvili, and Bakhtadze and, respectively, all the current government. Only chance, which this rogue of an international scale can use to come to power (God forbid!) - this is the wave of the most densest Russophobia, which is now swelling with might and main in the country. Saakashvili has nothing else for his soul, properly, and there. The worst, what exactly is this rotten "political capital", United States, looks like, ready to give him another "credit of confidence", helping to come to power. In addition, consider, that Miho's choice in case of returning to his homeland with precision 100% fits into the immortal formula of his almost namesake - the immortal comrade Saakov from the "Caucasian Captive": or Saakashvili suits Zurabishvili "Maidan", or she takes him to the prosecutor… Do not forget about that magnificent "bouquet" of criminal cases, who are brought against the ex-president in Tbilisi, to this day demanding his extradition.

Port showdown and a lesson for Ukraine

For Washington, whose methods and manuals are visible in the Tbilisi events, what is called, per mile, the riots have, in addition, and a purely mercantile background. Besides, they are designed to serve a certain "educational effect". Let's clarify first about the material interest of the United States. It is concluded, if anyone hasn't guessed yet, in the construction of a deep-water seaport in Anaklia. In the West, how established, talk about, that this project is “vital to the independence of Georgia, and also for European security ". In fact, Tbilisi – another "sea gate" – in addition to Batumi and Poti, need, as a famous animal extra limbs. But Washington really needs this port, for, how one of the American media managed to let it slip, US Navy submarines can be based in Anaklia!

But we just didn't have enough of them near Sochi.. Yes, and Abkhazia is just a stone's throw from there… In short, it is not surprising that, that in Moscow this "infrastructure project", to put it mildly, did not and does not cause the slightest delight. Here is the current head of government – Mamuka Bakhtadze is accused today in the West of, what he, breakwater, in every possible way hinders the construction of the port and delays it. And here we come to the very, perhaps, interesting. Start date of "spontaneous protests", 20 June, tied, you can bet, not at all with the visit of Mr. Gavrilov, but with completely different events. The thing is, that a few days earlier the Georgian government should have decided on the issue of providing a multimillion-dollar loan to the consortium created for the construction of the port, behind which are just corporations from the United States. At the same time, Ivanishvili has repeatedly expressed doubts about the reliability of the "concessionaires" and even (about, horror!) talked about the need to attract investors from China to the project. Likely, given its real impact, with the allocation of money for the satisfaction of American "deep-sea wants", there were problems. It was then that it struck! And you say – I sat in the wrong chair… Everything is much more prosaic. Washington once again shows, what awaits anyone, who dares to try to stand across his economic, and, especially, military strategic plans.

And this "message" is addressed, by the way, not only Tbilisi, a i, least, Kiev too. Volodymyr Zelenskiy, newly elected president there from time to time, trying to correct his own rating, which suddenly began to "deflate", allows himself to speak, departing from the standard Russophobia of the previous Ukrainian government. So let him see, what happens to those suspected by Washington of "pro-Russian sentiments", so that in the future it was discouraging! As it appears, in "nezalezhnoy" this lesson was learned on a solid "five" with a plus. At the same time, when on Georgian television they were sophisticated in Russophobic foul language, in Ukrainian, the "criminal" attempt to arrange a teleconference with Russia was suppressed in the most harsh way. And the same Zelensky took the most ardent personal part in "eradicating sedition". Good boy, teachable…

Russia in the current situation should also teach some people a lesson. As a matter of fact, first, and very serious steps have already been taken towards this. Minister of Regional Development Maya Tskitishvili, looking into the empty sky, in which there are no longer planes carrying generous Russian tourists, can lament about "political speculation" and express hope, that "everything will work out". You will not be full of hope… And if an official apology at the highest level does not follow for a trick that goes beyond all conceivable boundaries of what is permissible in the Rustavi-2 studio, then Moscow should explain this saying to Tbilisi in more detail. Finally, everyone should learn – you will have to pay for Russophobia, and pay off.
