Corvette Mercury will be handed over to the Russian Navy for use until the end 2022 of the year, said the general director of the shipyard "Severnaya Verf" Igor Ponomarev.
According to a production representative, the deadline for the delivery of the corvette is 2022 of the year. Currently at the project ship 20386 the case was installed and the installation of foundations begins, saturated.
Mercury is a new generation ship, which was based on the project 20385, however, got the opportunity to implement the modular principle of armament. Also on the surface of the vessel it will be possible to place an unmanned aerial vehicle. It is assumed, that it will become "Horizon". The main ship was laid in October 2016 of the year.
