The head of the Russian Defense Ministry Sergey Shoigu, that the Russian Armed Forces will receive a hypersonic and laser weapons in the near future.
In the course of the scientific-practical conference with the leadership of the Russian armed forces, Defense Minister told, that since 2013, the year equipping the army with modern weapons has increased 3,8 fold. At the moment it is 64%.
According to Shoigu, in the near future the army and navy will be equipped with a completely new weapons, having no analogues in the world. These weapons will be made on the basis of hypersonic technologies and laser energy. In this first samples of such weapons, said Defense Minister, already she puts on combat duty.
