Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko commented on the death of machine gunner Yana Chervona under the call sign "Witch". On his Facebook page, Poroshenko wrote, that Chervonaya died with a direct hit by an enemy mine in the dugout. He expressed condolences in connection with the death of a machine gunner, adding, that she knew her as a volunteer and a person of a cheerful disposition.
