The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko today approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (SNBO) the imposition of additional personal sanctions against Russia. The decree is published on the website of the President shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the official media of Ukraine.
Previously, the list of Russian legal entities and individuals approved NSDC. Under the sanctions hit companies, politicians, businessmen and workers of law enforcement agencies, ie . all those, Who “actively supported or contributed to acts of aggression against Ukraine”.
All under the new sanctions were 848 man and 294 legal entities, that: participated in the construction of the Crimean bridge; involved in the attack in the Kerch Strait of Unlawful Seizure of Ukrainian boats; participated in or organized “pseudo” in the Crimea and Donbas; violated Ukrainian legislation, illegally visiting Ukrainian Crimea; illegally distributing printed materials anti-Ukrainian content; illegally obtained and used “museum collections”, belonging to Ukraine.
In addition to Russian citizens and companies, Kiev has imposed sanctions against 50 citizens from 14 nations, which observed the elections in DND and LNR.
Also extended sanctions against four banks with Russian capital: Sberbank, Joint-Stock Commercial Industrial Investment Bank, VTB Bank and BM Bank.
