These stations have already been operating since October last year (…) two more new blocks are being introduced today. Their total power will double, It will be increased to 940 MW. Vladimir Putin noted, that new investments will be made in Crimea - for the development of the peninsula.
To service the Crimean Bridge and the Taman port in the Krasnodar Territory, a modern substation “Port” is being created. The Russian President also announced this infrastructure facility at a meeting with Crimean energy workers.
Recall, that in December of this year railway traffic will open on the bridge across the Kerch Strait. The new Port substation will also serve this direction of operation of the Crimean Bridge (electrified branch, connecting Crimea with Kuban).
