American media are disseminating a statement from the State Department and the Pentagon about the beginning of the withdrawal of American military contingent from the United States.
The main foreign policy agency of the United States reports, that within the next 24 hours, diplomatic representatives will be evacuated from Syria, including US special representatives for contacts with Kurdish armed forces.
Bloomberg news agency writes about, that US President Trump ordered the complete withdrawal of troops from the Syrian Arab Republic. The media claimed, that Trump demanded that the US Army begin withdrawing troops “immediately”.
The mentioned news agency stated, that Trump's decision to withdraw troops was coordinated with Turkey. And if the US contingent leaves Syria, then Türkiye will have the opportunity to “resolve the Kurdish issue in northern Syria”.
meanwhile, President Trump himself once again stated that, that the US and the Washington-led coalition “inflicted a crushing defeat on ISIS (*It banned in Russia)”.
Last week, Turkish Foreign Minister M. Cavusoglu said, that the United States is about to begin withdrawing troops from the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, meanwhile, says during a briefing:
The beginning of the withdrawal of troops does not mean, that our coalition ceases to exist. We and our allies are ready to return at any moment, to protect interests. We will continue to work together for this purpose, to deprive radical Islamists of support, including financial.
