Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law, introducing criminal responsibility for citizens “Aggressor country” (Note-Russians.) for illegally crossing the country's borders, the message says, placed on the side of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The law applies only to the Russians, ie. citizens of the aggressor, or other persons, acting in the interests of the aggressor state. Illegal crossing of the border is considered to be the intersection of crossing points, without documents or with false documents.

Previously for a similar act of Ukrainian legislation provides for a fine or administrative arrest for up to 15 day, that will apply to citizens of other countries, non-aggressor State (the definition adopted by the Verkhovna Rada Russia in 2015 year).
