Pakistani Defense Ministry has expressed its intention to conclude a contract with Russia on the modernization of tanks T-80UD, previously purchased from the Ukraine and is now facing armed Pakistan army. This was stated by deputy head of the State Military-Industrial Corporation Heavy Industrues Taxila (Pakistan) Brigadier General Anwar Noman in an international forum “Army 2018”.
As explained by the representative of Pakistan Army, purchased from the Ukrainian T-80 tanks of Soviet era and need to be upgraded to the current state.
