In Belarus, we found another “echoes of war”, remaining from the time of the Great Patriotic War. When repairing a railway bridge, laying of TNT was found, According to Belarusian newspaper “People's News of Vitsebsk”.
As the newspaper writes, during repair work on the railway bridge over the river Adrov in Orsha district, Vitebsk region, workers found about twenty kilograms of TNT. Found in tab end of the bridge portion of the rails after dismantling, sleepers and ballast. Arrived at the military unit №5524 sappers removed from favorites 54 TNT blocks from World War II with a total weight 21,6 kilogram, thus there is no information, whether or checkers Soviet German. The explosive has been moved to a safe place and destroyed by detonation.
