Complex “Krasnopol” It provides high performance characteristics and combat effectiveness, allowing to expand significantly opportunities cannon artillery. At the same time operating experience, new requirements, promising application requirements tactic complex guided artillery (KUAV), dictated essentially creating a new KUAV (second) generation.
Second generation KUAV characterized by the following principal directions improve these complexes with laser illumination purposes:
• simplify the operation of guided artillery projectile (UAS) in terms of preparation for firing and charging is similar to staffing (neupravlyaemomu) shell;
• increase the combat power of the UAS, ensuring the defeat with a probability of not less than 0,7 current and future tanks;
• increase in the firing range of up to 22-25 km;
• increasing the relative frequency of combat use, including work at night.
