Russia continues its withdrawal of troops from the territory of Syria. Defense Ministry says, that on Saturday more 150 MPs returned to North Ossetia after the problems in the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported, that before returning to his homeland, on the territory of the Russian air base “Xmejmim”, servicemen were awarded departmental and state awards for the successful implementation of special tasks in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic. After the official part, military police soldiers were taken to the military-transport aircraft and 76 air bases “Xmejmim” airfield Mozdok, where they were met by higher command, colleagues and family.
It should be recalled, that to date, from Syria to places of permanent deployment returned 27 airplanes and helicopters, Grips technical staff and special purpose medical detachment.
In the same time, Russian Ministry of Defense announces the creation of a new body armor for the military police complex, which has been demonstrated Russian Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov during his working trip to the Western Military District.
The set includes a helmet, Body armor and shield, manufactured using the latest composite materials, allowing to increase the level of security and reduce the weight of the equipment. The main feature of the complex is represented by the ability to change the degree of protection, depending on the conditions of the combat mission.
