The United States is ready to received the largest military budget in history. The US Senate approved a bill on the Defense Policy, providing capacity costs $716 billion, transfers “Warspot” with reference to the news agency Reuters.
Of the total, dedicated to on 2019 financial year (will start in October this year), $639 billion will be spent on basic defense spending, including the purchase of arms and the payment of the US Army servicemen.
Besides, planned spending still following: the needs of the bilateral fund Afghan security forces and the US will be allocated $5,2 billion. Also $350 million received fund support for US-led coalition, which deals with cost recovery, incurred by the US allied countries in connection with US military operations.
A separate line in the bill stipulates funding of US-Israeli relations. On missile defense program will be allocated $500 million, to fight with Palestinian underground tunnels – yet $50 million. In support of its allies in Syria, including their training and arming, US planned allocation $300 million.
Do not forget to mention in the document and Ukraine. On delivery it lethal weapons the United States plans to allocate up to $200 million. If it is proved the feasibility of placing permanent brigade of the US Army in Poland, then it will be allocated money, but at the moment the amount is not announced.
In the case of the adoption of this law, US military spending will increase significantly. Prior to that, the largest military budget is the budget 2010 of the year, when the United States spent on defense $698 billion.
It should be recalled, that the US spends on defense-third of all global defense spending.
