The European Union said on entering the restrictive measures on US goods. Additional duties are introduced on imports from the United States to the EU.
In Brussels, clarified, that under the import additional duties fall imports of steel and aluminum products American, as well as agricultural products. These restrictive measures will be a response of the European Union on the introduction of the United States import duties on European exports of steel and aluminum. In this case, the response of Brussels measures affect goods worth 2,8 billion euros.
Recall, at the end of March, the US announced the commissioning of national security of import duties on steel in the amount of 25 percent and aluminum - ten percent.
At the moment, the imposition of additional duties on American goods declared and Russia. Restrictive measures will affect goods worth more than half a billion dollars. At the same time Russia has not yet decided on the list of goods, subject to the additional duties. According to experts, duties can be imposed on almost everything that comes from the United States, including tobacco and alcohol products, agricultural products and medicines, except for goods which have no analogues in Russia.
