Aircraft were flight tested at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (IAZ) last fall, but transferred to the military is only now.
The resource recalls, that the delivery of the Yak-130 IAP was suspended in late July 2017 , and it was resumed only in March of this year, (then VCS also received 4 release aircraft 2017 of the year).
It is assumed, that the suspension of the program "Jacob" is associated with completion of training and combat vehicles after two flight accidents, occurred in one day - 21 June 2017 of the year.
All eight aircraft were built in the last year as part of the supply contract 30 units to the end 2018 of the year. To date, aerospace forces under the contract transferred 24 aircraft Yak-130. Most of them are serving in Armavir, providing training for students of the Krasnodar aviation college (KVVAUL).
In total, the Russian Defense Ministry to date received 103 aircraft Yak-130. Of them 12 It was built by the Nizhny Novgorod Aircraft Plant "Sokol", rest 91 - in Irkutsk.
