In Germany, summed up the results of the European “tank biathlon”, held at the training center of the 7th US Army Command, located on a military training ground Grafenwoehr in Bavaria. As a result, the German crews on the tanks Leopard 2A6 won first place, on the other is located on the Swedes Stridsvagn 122, on the third – Austrians on Leopard 24A. Besides, in a separate category sniping win Americans Abrams M1A2, transfers “Warspot”.

The competition was attended by 8 commands: Austria on the Leopard 2A4; UK FV4034 Challenger 2; Germany Leopard 2A6; Poland on the Leopard 2A5; US Abrams M1A2 SEP v2; Ukraine on T-84; France AMX-56 Leclerc; Sweden Strv.122. Ukraine team, speaking at the T-84 “stronghold”, ranked last, eighth. On the first day of competition at the tank command had problems with the fire control system. Last year, Ukrainian tankers on T-64BM took the last place among the six teams.
These competitions were held for the third time, and are considered to be the annual. The competition involved teams from NATO and allied countries.
