The corporation explained, UVZ that experts will check and technically prepare 80 T-72B3 to participate in “tank biathlon”. All the selected machines are mass-produced and were produced in the framework of the state defense order in UVZ, and then sent to the operating part of the armored units of the Russian Defense Ministry. Any specially prepared vehicles, except serial tanks copies, the competition will not be.
As follows from the press service of the posts, first 10 T-72B3 has transferred to Russian crews for the preliminary competition and to determine the best, and who will take part in “tank biathlon” in ALABIN.
It should be noted, that this year their participation in international competitions representatives confirmed 21 countries, last year took part in the competitions of crews 19 nations. Most of the teams during the passage of the track will use the Russian T-72B3, their cars may bring China, as well as India and Belarus. These teams in last year's competition performed at his technique: China Type 96B, India T-90S Bhishma and Belarus on T-72BME.
