Minister of Defense of Estonia Juri Luik, visiting military exercises Siil ('Yoj') 2018, He stated, that the country has established strong security, helps protect it from external threats.

The exercise, began 2 May, there are about 15 thousands of soldiers and reservists of the armed forces of Estonia. Involving members of the volunteer paramilitary organization “Kaiseliit”, police and border guards, volunteers and civil servants. Also among the participants - about two thousand soldiers and officers of the Allies and NATO partners: Great Britain, USA, Denmark, Germany, Poland, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Sweden, Georgia, Ukraine and Ireland.
The exercise involved a heavy armored vehicles and 20 aircrafts, including helicopters R-44 Robinson and training jets L-39 Estonian Air, British and American helicopters Lynx Wildcat AH1 and the UH-60 Black Hawk, French fighter jets Mirage 2000 Polish Su-22.
