The company "Tupolev" has started construction of a new upgraded version of the strategic missile – Tu-160M2. It is reported by news agency "Interfax" referring to the director of the company Alexander Konyukhov.
According to the head "Tupolev", the first aircraft in the guise of the Tu-160m2 is already under construction. It is noted, that the Tu-160m2 is a "fresh Glider".

Tu-160m2 - an entirely new plane. A Tu-160M - modernization of aircraft, are in the ranks. Tu-160M will be released on flight tests in 2019, and complete them 2021 year. In this case, will be launched in parallel and tested Tu-160m2.
The new strategic missile, as stated, It will have greater speed and range. Besides, it will be powered by a completely new means of destroying targets. Updating the missile park is planned to be implemented by 2030 year.
