According to Defense Aerospace, Council artillery factory in India, subordinate to the Indian Ministry of Defense, I decided to modernize Soviet towed guns M-46 caliber 130 millimeters. 
Towed guns M-46 issued with th 1948 1971 year for the Armed Forces of the USSR and actively exported. Apart from India, these guns are in service for nearly 40 countries of the world. The length of the M-46 is 11,1 meter at length of the barrel 7,2 m, width - 2,5 m, and height - 2,6 m.
The gun is equipped with a gun carriage dvuhstaninnym hydropneumatic recoil brake. Barrel of the gun has elevation angles from minus 2,5 to 45 degrees and rotation angles from minus 25 to 25 degrees. M-46 can conduct aimed fire at targets at ranges up to 27,5 kilometers.
As part of the modernization of the Indian gun is planned to replace the muzzle brake, breech, and modify the recoil device. Besides, instead of the standard caliber barrel 130 millimeters developers will install a new gauge 155 millimeters. As a result of the modernization of sighting range M-46 will increase to 36 kilometers.
Currently, India's arms are around 300 M-46 guns. All of them will be upgrading, transmits portal “N+1”
