Personnel of the military police battalion of the Russian Ministry of Defense, who has served in the Syrian city of Aleppo for the past year and a half, arrived in Chechnya, TASS reports a message from the head of the republic Ramzan Kadyrov.
Our military personnel were assigned exclusively responsible tasks, related to the protection of the most important facilities of the Russian Ministry of Defense, support for public order, ensuring the safety of the civilian population, achieving a peaceful resolution to the conflict in the SAR, Kadyrov wrote on the social network Vkontakte.

393 soldiers under the command of Major Ruslan Numukhadzhiev returned home safely. On the occasion of the arrival of the battalion, a ceremonial meeting was held in the city of Grozny (…) A number of military personnel received honorary state awards, added the head of the republic.
