Private Military Company (PMC) private military or security companies, provide armed security. These fighters are widely known as mercenaries, although modern PMCs figuratively prefer to call their employees security contractors.
Services and experience of solving PMCs, usually, similar to those, government military or police forces, but on a smaller scale. While PMCs often provide training services, they may even be staffed by the official armed forces, they can also be used by private companies, to provide security for key personnel or security of company facilities, especially in unfavorable areas. Nevertheless, contractors, who use offensive groups in a war zone can be considered illegal combatants, on the concept, set forth in the Geneva Convention and expressly stated in the US Military Commissions Act
